ABOUT US

Fox Hollow Farms is a family owned and operated Charolais seedstock operation of 200+ females. Our maternal base consists of closely related females, which are selectively mated with complimentary sires, in order to produce performance enhanced uniformity throughout our herd.  Trait leading and breed leading EPD’s have been stressed to produce highly marketable Charolais seedstock.  Bulls are available year round private treaty, and a production sale is scheduled for the fall of 2020.

  • 1980

Don and Janet started raising and promoting Charolais cattle by identifying and mating different bloodlines and successfully exhibiting them at shows across the country. By 1988 Fox Hollow Farms was established in the Charolais breed and known for their progressive genetics and success. Fox Hollow had many champion animals, from county fairs to Junior Nationals, state fairs to the American Royal, including the ?86-87 Show Heifer of the Year, and the 43rd ROE sire, the youngest bull to receive the honor at that time.

  • 1997

Don and Janet privately dispersed their herd and a new chapter in their life was well underway.

  • 2008

Stephen, and wife Michal, returned to raising Charolais cattle by focusing on select breeding pieces that would lay the foundation of the herd that was to come.

Beyond the show ring and the accolades, Fox Hollows commitment has been to the Charolais bull as a complete, terminal sire for commercial cattlemen. Grid Maker, Rio Bravo and Wyoming Wind genetics are the predominant sire lines in the herd. Nancy, Germaine, Elvira 162J, Jewel 0155, Patsy and Bonanza are some of the prominent maternal lines in the herd.
